It was officially confirmed this week (following my own common sense dismissal) that the rampant rumor of Britney Spears moving to Denver/Colorado/Estes Park/Cherry Creek North/any other place in the area is completely false. Penny Parker, gossip/society columnist with the Rocky Mountain News, reported that John Sundahl, the real estate developer with who Britney had allegedly put a deposit on a home in Cherry Creek North and toured rehab centers in Estes Park with, called her directly to dispute this rumor. He said that he dated Britney briefly after meeting her in rehab in L.A., but broke up with her because her drug problem was too crazy and he never travelled to Denver with her. He was here with his Britney lookalike (apparently) girlfriend. He did, in fact, put a deposit on some property in Cherry Creek North which he is now in danger of losing thanks to the unwanted publicity this story has generated.

So, for the last time: Britney Spears is categorically NOT moving to Colorado.
