Report came out today contradicting the previous report that Nene's testicular tumor was benign and confirmed that it instead was a cancerous tumor. However, the right testical was removed and there are no signs that the cancer spread anywhere else. This is great news and it is very likely that he should be able to go forward healthy and cancer free. He is also slated to return to the Nuggets in mid-march, leaving plenty of time for the team to re-gel in advance of the playoffs.
