From the ashes of the Rocky Mountain News, InDenverTImes.com is attempting to rise.
A group of former Rocky employees is trying to get 50,000 pledges for subscriptions for $4.99 per month by April 23. If they reach the goal, they will launch this new local news site. This is an intriguing effort in the face of a lot of newspaper's struggling nation wide. The Seattle Post Intelligencer has recently shifted to online only; its last print edition was yesterday.
