One day after new broke that one of Denver's longest time sports heroes, Joe Sakic, will be retiring comes news that one of our newest sports heroes, Denver Nugget Chris "Birdman" Andersen, has resigned for five years. This is well-deserved for the Birdman who is a key energy guy on the Nuggs and was a key player in the playoffs this year.
